Terms of Service

Last updated 22 August 2026

Jino is in beta. While the beta lasts, every feature — including the ones marked Jino Plus — is free, and nobody is charged. Things will occasionally break, and features may change or disappear. Please don't rely on Jino as the only copy of anything that matters to you.

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Bmore Designful ("we", "us") covering your use of the Jino mobile app and this website (together, "Jino"). By creating an account or using Jino, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Jino.

Because Jino is distributed through the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Where these Terms and that agreement conflict on a point it covers, that agreement governs.

2. Who can use Jino

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, you may only use Jino with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Jino is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple or with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that Apple ID or mailbox secure — anyone who controls it can reach your Jino account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gotten into your account.

One account belongs to one person. Please don't share an account with your partner — pair instead.

4. Pairing, and what your partner can see

Jino works by pairing two accounts. Once you are paired, the content you create in the shared parts of the app — check-ins, notes, prompt answers, gifts, voice notes and reactions — is visible to your partner. That is the point of the product, and it is not reversible after the fact: unpairing stops future sharing, but it does not un-send what you already sent.

Anyone who holds a valid pairing code can pair with you, so treat your pairing code the way you'd treat a door key. Codes expire fifteen minutes after they're issued.

5. Your content

What you write, record and share in Jino stays yours. You give us only the limited permission we need to operate the service — to store your content, transmit it to your partner, and show it back to the two of you. We do not use your content to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not show it to anyone else. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

You are responsible for the content you put into Jino, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

If Jino is being used against you, you can unpair and delete your account from inside the app at any time, and you can write to us at carolyn-tung@bmore-designful.com.

7. Jino Plus and payment

During the beta, Jino Plus is free and no purchase is offered. Nothing in the app charges you, and no payment details are collected.

When paid subscriptions become available, they will work like this:

A Jino Plus subscription covers both people in a pair — your partner receives Plus at no additional cost for as long as your subscription is active and you remain paired.

8. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We will try to give notice of anything significant, but during the beta we may make changes without advance notice.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Jino at any time, and you can delete your account and its content from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, that puts other people at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

10. Disclaimers

Jino is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Jino will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost.

Jino is not a therapy, counselling, medical or crisis service. It does not provide professional advice about your health or your relationship. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits or loss of goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to Jino is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for Jino or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Jino. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in Maryland will have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own local courts, which it may.

14. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Jino after that means you accept the new Terms.
